The following is an opinion, after watching and hearing, about all the attacks on the gun industry, (a vital, Constitutionally protected, RIGHT). Most are actual historical quotes with some personal opinion intermixed. It is not meant to incite, but rather to cause serious consideration. The point is not to offend but to cause reason to shine it's light in the darkness. Much, if not all, of the writing below has been written or spoken before. It is felt, by many, that the United States and the rest of the world is headed for real serious problems. If we don't stem this 'Anti-Gun" tide, we certainly will be in the most critical point in this country's history.

What the Anti-Gun crowd either fails to admit or realize is this country was FOUNDED by the gun! And our fore-fathers had the wisdom to realize we could only keep our freedom by vigilant wielding of the gun in the face of FOREIGN and DOMESTIC tyrants. The following quotes bear this out. They knew evil will always be there to present its ugly head. No amount of liberalizing, civilizing, regulating or coddling will keep it at bay. IT'S THE NATURE OF THE BEAST! And that it was up to US to stand firm and confront it. They wanted the PEOPLE to be BIG BROTHER NOT VISA-VERSA!

The Virginia ratifying convention met from June 2 through June 26, 1788. Edmund Pendleton, opponent of a bill of rights, weakly argued that abuse of power could be remedied by recalling the delegated powers in a convention. Patrick Henry shot back that the power to resist oppression rests upon the right to possess arms:
Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect every one who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined.
Henry sneered,
O sir, we should have fine times, indeed, if, to punish tyrants, it were only sufficient to assemble the people! Your arms, wherewith you could defend yourselves, are gone...Did you ever read of any revolution in a nation...inflicted by those who had no power at all?

We established however some, although not all its [self-government] important principles. The constitutions of most of our States assert, that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves, in all cases to which they think themselves competent, (as in electing their functionaries executive and legislative, and deciding by a jury of themselves, in all judiciary cases in which any fact is involved,) or they may act by representatives, freely and equally chosen; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed;

They consist of now of the whole people, except a few public officers. But I cannot say who will be the militia of the future day. If that paper on the table gets no alteration, the militia of the future day may not consist of all classes, high and low, and rich and poor...

Those quotes were from the people who were instrumental in the writings of the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights. For any lawyer or public official to dispute this - they would have to be assumed delusional!

There are thousands of companies and organizations listed on this site,(GunShowOnTheNet.com). They represent thousands upon thousands of people employed by them. These are the people that many in our government, and in the private sector, are actively trying to put out of work. IN DIRECT VIOLATION OF OUR 2ND AMENDMENT! These people attacking our rights totally disregard the true intent and meaning of our Constitution. It is a topic that should not ever even enter into debate! It is a guaranteed RIGHT! Any lawmaker that caters to these individuals and groups is not following our Constitutional law. And therefore should be voted out of office and/or put in prison for violation of the Constitution. They are practicing cowardly and traitorous acts!


We cannot and MUST not give up our GOD given right to self-protection! The end result of every gun confiscation scheme has always, ultimately, resulted in the same end - enslavement and/or MASS MURDER! Our government was never given the right to do this by ANY stretch of the imagination. Our forefathers warned against our people being disarmed. The intent was to keep ALL enemies, FOREIGN and DOMESTIC at bay! Any lawyer, judge or politician that refutes this obviously hasn't studied the history or writings surrounding the Constitution! They would be constitutionally incapable of being honest and need be thrown out of office!

We are at the edge of a very dangerous and deadly precipice. History has proven time and time again that an unarmed populace is not "free" at all. They invariably are turned into subjects, serfs, slaves and sadly many are put to death. Do we really need another tragic history lesson?
If we take this lying down we will be left laying prone, for eternity, in a box!

We have enemies WORLD WIDE. Many of these people are living in OUR country, planning our demise! Mean while, the majority of our armed forces are stationed overseas. Who is supposed to protect us? Who protected our fellow countrymen that were in the Twin Towers? Our governments answer to this was the supposed ' Patriot Act '. Where we were effectively stripped of more of our Constitutional rights! The 'Patriot Act' itself is unconstitutional! There is no circumstance, that could ever come to pass, that justifies going against the core value system that our Fore-Fathers laid out for us.

"We Hold These Truths To Be Self Evident, that ALL men are created equal, that they are endowed by their CREATOR, (Not Government), with certain UNALIENABLE RIGHTS, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." (Now that statement was the 'act' of a true 'Patriot'!). "That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, -That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness." These are words our fore fathers lived and DIED for!

What if there had been a trained, armed citizen, (THE ORIGINAL MILITIA), on any or all of those planes? It would seem more sensible to have as many citizens armed as possible! What person, in their right or wrong mind as the case may be, would want to try something illegal with armed people all around them? (Imagine the drop in our crime rates!) Consider Israel, where the MAJORITY of their populace is armed. Yes, they have to deal with cowardly suicide bombers. (And there is nothing worse than an evil coward). However, many are stopped before they get the chance to carry out their cowardly deed. The people of Israel have the most extensive, unfortunate, experience of being disarmed by governments and repeatedly herded off for slaughter! It would be a good bet that it won't happen again.

How many times have we heard how busy the police are and that they cannot respond in a timely manner? We cannot and should not rely on the police 100% of the time. This is not a criticism of the police. The officers that come into the shop are some of the most dedicated and caring individuals I know. There just simply are not enough law enforcement officers as are needed. THESE ARE FACTS! We need to wake up and 'smell the coffee'! Moreover we need to wake our government up and make them know that WE ARE THE "PEOPLE" and that they are our public servants and representatives - not our masters!

Government employees make better than average wages, have the best benefits. And a far better retirement than the average working person! Yet try to get something done through their 'channels' and its a worse experience than going to a dentist! They treat us as 'pests' or as if we are ignorant. How did this come to pass? Since when did the servant become better than those they are supposed to serve? Does not make much sense, does it?

Why doesn't the armed forces stand up to their sworn duty and uphold and defend the Constitution of these United States of America? These are our sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers and friends. What is happening to this country? Do we really want to stand by and watch it all crumble down around us? Do we want it said of America, "what a country it was and could have been"?

The people in our government are supposed to be chosen from among us - our neighbors, friends, and people we trust. Instead, many in our government look at us as if we are without understanding and underlings. They take it upon themselves that THEY know what is best for us! We ARE their BOSSES! We TELL THEM what to do! Within the bounds of the Constitution.

When is the last time you felt you were truly represented? The only notion that can be gathered from this is that our opinion is not respected. Nor is the laws of the land!
When governments prove themselves a detriment to the people, instead of an asset - they need replaced!

"Those who trade essential Liberty for temporary security, deserve neither Liberty nor Security." - Quote from Benjamin Franklin. (I'll bet Ol' Ben is rolling over in his grave right about now). Yet he knew this could happen, as evidenced in the following statement;
At the close of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia on September 18, 1787, a Mrs. Powel anxiously awaited the results, and as Benjamin Franklin emerged from the long task now finished, asked him directly: "Well Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?" "A republic if you can keep it" responded Franklin.
That is why our fore-fathers wanted us to be armed. They knew the temptations of power. And that some who are supposed to LEAD might succumb to the lust for even more power....Remember Hitler, Stalin, Chairman Mao?

This is a Republic - ruled by law, not to be changed lightly or on a whim. The only democracy is the vote. The states were to be ultimately constrained by the Constitution as well. Yet, look how many have been allowed to pass laws that are blatantly UNCONSTITUTIONAL! How is this happening in a Republic? The government is supposed to promote free trade and to look out for the General Welfare. They tried to SUE the gun industry into oblivion! Perhaps THEY need to be SUED into COMPLIANCE with the LAWS of our land! They are not supposed to be able to change laws just because they think it's the best thing to do. The best for who? I wonder....

They that are doing evil are the most fearful of retribution. If the tools for retribution are removed - there is no fear, but rather - boldness and tyranny!

What is totally amazing is the bias shown by the majority of the media towards guns. They, being familiar with history, should know that when a totalitarian regime takes over, the first target is the media! They are silenced and RE-EDUCATED or replaced with ministers of propaganda.

Much of our legal and government structure is based on Roman law. Does any body remember what happened to Rome? They to, were THE SUPER-POWER of the time. The politicians of Rome grew fat and careless of the needs of the people and received their just reward. Unfortunately, they brought the whole empire down with them. As did the Aristocrats in France. The government of Rome sponsered slaughtering Christians for sport!
Those who do not learn from history are DOOMED to repeat it!

The true nature of evil and ignorance is to do the same thing over and over again - expecting different results!

Those who say "it can't happen here" are totally oblivious to historical FACT;

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, 6 million Jews and countless others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated. (Some estimates bring the total closer to 11 million!).

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million 'educated' people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: about 50 million. Some estimates of this total are much higher!

Now, is the time for ALL good men, (and women), to come to the aid of their country! We are under attack - from within and out. If we don't 'stop the buck' here, there won't be anyone to pass it on to!

If anyone thinks this the ramblings of a paranoid person, consider the UNCONSTITUTIONAL GUN CONFISCATIONS that occurred during the aftermath of the New Orleans hurricane disaster. (We're here to HELP you by taking away the only means of SELF-DEFENSE during a period of RABID civil unrest!?). Instead of focusing on the task at hand, helping and saving their FELLOW COUNTRYMENS LIVES, they wasted valuable time by confiscating our CONSTITUTIONALLY protected guns. The NRA and K.A.B.A. had to SUE our 'supposed public servants' to stop them from ILLEGAL gun confiscations and thievery!

The officers of the law and the soldiers that took part in that ILLEGAL act should be ASHAMED of themselves for their cowardly acts! AND TRIED IN COURT AS TRAITORS TO THEIR FELLOW COUNTRYMEN AND THE CONSTITUTION! They have the RIGHT and DUTY to REFUSE to carry out ILLEGAL ORDERS! The officials that issued the order should be thrown out of office and imprisoned for ILLEGAL activity! This kind of conduct will continue unless these cowards are brought to justice and made to pay for their TREASON. There is NOTHING that could possibly come to pass that justifies going against the very FOUNDATION of our country and its laws! Not to mention the laws of God and nature!
