Many politicians saw the words 'Rulers' of the People and liked the idea. They promptly picked up the ball and ran with it. Unfortunately, 'Rulers' of the People were the ONLY words they paid attention to. The rest, which spells out clearly the proper Principles of governed 'rule'. Was thusly lost in the dust of the mad dash to establish 'their' idea of 'Rule' OVER the People!
