Yet some more Constitutional 'gun control'

Noisy Christmas Prohibited.

Republic Special.

Harrisburg, Ill., Dec. 16.--The indiscriminate use of firearms during the holidays, which has been the custom heretofore, will be prohibited in this city during the coming Christmas holidays. The City Council has been flooded with petitions asking the Council to enforce the law in regard to firing pistols, cannon and other weapons within the corporate limits. The custom heretofore has been such that holidays were dreaded because of the careless handling of firearms in the hands of small boys, which made it dangerous for citizens to walk on the streets.
