3-28-1855: "The chewing and smoking of the article comes to the male gender in this country as naturally as Yankee courage and a knowledge of fire arms.”
The following article gives a double knock-out to the LIE-beral crowd:
Evening Star, Washington, D.C., “To surrender the use of tobacco would be to “ignore” a prominent American characteristic. The chewing and smoking of the article comes to the male gender in this country as naturally as Yankee courage and a knowledge of fire arms.”, March 28, 1855

The term "liberal", in its political application, is a misnomer. If not actually employed as an outright decception....
For those that brand themselves, or are branded, as "liberals" are anything but. They are actually Authoritarian in their nature. And hold obedience to big government and 'power' as their [perverse] creed. Of true freedom and liberty they have not the slightest comprehension. It can even be rightfully held that they are the true enemies of freedom and liberty. The term that more accurately describes the "liberal" of today is; faithless and ignorant lazy coward. They put their [misguided] trust in the creature rather than the Creator.

10-17-1853: "when the fact is known that almost every lad of twelve years of age has a gun at his command.”
This short article sure states a lot:
Daily Dispatch, “Fire arms are dangerous playthings for small-boys, and we have often wondered that so few accidents occur from them, when the fact is known that almost every lad of twelve years of age has a gun at his command.”, Oct. 17, 1853
Can hear the LIE-berals screeching from here....
