"the framers of our constitution seem to know how necessary the possession of arms is to the people of a free state"

Article II of the constitution of the United States provides that a "A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." The Cubans as did the framers of our constitution seem to know how necessary the possession of arms is to the people of a free state, and hence but a very small percentage have consented to part with their guns when offered pay for them by the military authorities of the United States.

Now WHY would our government attempt to disarm the Cuban people? To make it easier for the gangsters to set up their casinos there in the next few years perhaps? As well as to make it easier on the communists that took over a few decades later?
