The economic costs associated with SB 1348 are staggering. At least two-thirds of all illegal immigrants lack a high school diploma. This translates into millions of new immigrants which will work low-wage jobs and this will significantly undermine the American wage structure from the bottom up. As a result of their low wages and/or welfare status, illegal aliens will pay little or no income tax; thus, leaving almost the entire tax burden to the already beleaguered American middle class.Due to just the sheer numbers of what will soon become newly legalized immigrants, these trespassers will continue to be significant users of our schools and other public institutions. In twenty to thirty years, the majority of these millions of immigrants will be means-tested and qualify for subsidized American benefits such as Medicaid. Most illegal aliens already qualify for federal free lunch programs, free neonatal and publicly funded child care and most will qualify for subsidized federal and state housing (e.g., Section 8). Further, this group will qualify for “Earned Income Tax Credit” and, of course most of this group will be eligible to receive free legal representation. Who pays for these benefits which will be conveyed to tens of million of illegal aliens? Well, you already know the answer to that question, the legal residents of this country. The very people who are desperately trying to preserve what is left of our country.According to the Heritage Foundation, each illegal alien, low-skilled worker costs American taxpayers about $17,000 per year. Can’t McCain and Kyl do the math in order to calculate the cost of their support for SB 1348 on the American people? Perhaps Kyl and McCain’s calculators do not have that many zeros to calculate the sum total that you and I are going to have to bear to support the insatiable thirst that the global corporations have toward obtaining an infinite supply of cheap labor.
Let’s give John and Jon some help with the accounting. As a starting point, if we fail to include in our accounting SB 1348’s “Friends and Family Plan” which allows an illegal, who is granted amnesty, to bring everyone that they know with them including the family dog, we could simply multiply 20 million illegal aliens times the $17,000 per year which we annually spend to support each trespasser. The cost of SB 1348, in 2007 dollars (or should I say Ameros?) is a hefty $340,000,000,000. Just in case all the zeros make you dizzy, the total is three hundred and forty billion dollars per year. In the illegal alien debate, have you wondered why McCain and Kyl do not discuss the financial cost associated with this bill? Why isn’t the corporate controlled media discussing the costs associated with SB 1348? The simple answer is that the costs are so staggering, that if the American public had any idea what it would cost the taxpayers of this country to pass and support this legislation; we would likely see widespread civil disobedience in the streets of America. The financial cost of SB 1348 grows far worse if we realistically calculate the anticipated, middle-of-the-road estimates from SB 1348’s ”Friends and Family Plan”, which could conservatively bring 100 million new “Americans” north of the border. Therefore, when we conservatively count the number of illegal aliens which will be allowed to stay in United States over the next 30 years, using the same Heritage Foundation estimate of $17,000 needed to support each illegal, we can place the annual cost of giving amnesty to the United States middle class taxpayer at a staggering $1,700,000,000,000 (1 trillion, 700 billion dollars per year, every year). We are presently spending a billion dollars per week to fund our foreign wars of occupation. To put these staggering costs of SB 1348 into perspective, please consider that we can safely state that the war on terror is 35.4 million times less expensive than giving amnesty to illegal aliens. And you thought the Iraq war was bankrupting the American economy?
These figures almost become incalculable when we consider that in two decades many of these new residents will be eligible to receive Social Security and Medicare at the very time Social Security is expected to go into crisis. The $17,000, needed to support each illegal alien, will quickly become a gross underestimate. I am not sure that my calculator has enough zeros to estimate the costs of these tens of millions of illegals who will be deeply immersed in the American welfare state.I have often wondered how the American public would ever accept the implementation of the North American Union and the currency consolidation which will take place as the Amero replaces the dollar. It is clear that the American economy, which is already teetering on collapse according to a United Nations Report released on Monday, will be obliterated. As a case in point, this morning’s sell off of treasury bills is unprecedented. The whole world is running from the dollar. When the American economy collapses under the weight of SB 1348, broke, desperate and jobless Americans will willingly accept any solution that might possibly lead them out of the abyss of economic disaster. Just as a conservative America accepted Franklin Roosevelt’s brand of socialism to “save” America from the devastation of the Depression, Americans will be begging for a new currency to replace the collapsed dollar. Voila, you have currency devaluation. The peso will be equal to the dollar and this is a prerequisite event in the implementation phase for the finalization of the North American Union. If you think this reasoning is a stretch, then ask yourself why SB 1348, an amnesty bill, contains an order to speed up the implementation of the North American Union in Section 413 of the bill.
What will this mean to fund our national defense and the funding of our social institutions such as our schools? To illustrate how quickly these changes are coming to America , my word processor flags the word “Amero” as a misspelled word. I could of course select the option “add to the dictionary.” But I think I will pass on executing this option because I am still hopeful that you and I can still turn this around before it is too late.
I ask you, the reader, once again, if supporting and voting for SB 1348 does not constitute treason against the American people, then please tell me what does? McCain and Kyl may have taken an oath defend the Constitution and the American people from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. However, it is clear that their true loyalties lie in providing their corporate benefactors with an endless supply of cheap labor from South of our soon-to-be extinct border at our expense.
Why should the country bemoan the early release from jail of Paris Hilton, when our media is turning a blind eye to the crime(s) being committed by 20 million law breakers?
Part four of this series will examine the enforcement, or lack thereof, provisions of SB 1348. Additionally, we will examine what brave people like Michelle Dallacroce, are doing to stem the tide of this most insidious invasion.
