It was 60 years ago today that the Japanese carried out an unprovoked sneak-attack on our Naval Forces based at Pearl Harbor. This is the event which drew the United States fully into World War II.
It has been admitted that our government had foreknowledge of the attack and did nothing to stop it. Resulting in thousands of our servicemen' being killed.
It has been suggested that the attack was allowed so that the U.S. would enter into the Pacific and European theatres of war. That those in government feel that they can make these types of decisions, that result in the deaths of our fellow countrymen, is despicable!
There is no doubt that Hitler and the Axis powers needed stopped. For they were pure unadulterated EVIL. But, the truth needs brought out, instead of lies to get men to act. There were and still are many people willing to rise up and put down tyranny - whether in our own country or in others that reach out to us for help.
Honesty is ALWAYS the best policy. Better to be standing with truth, then to be falling for a lie!
People are not pawns, to be used at the whim of those that are supposedly in power!
