The following is a quote by a Federal Judge;
......"the simple truth -- born of experience -- is that tyranny thrives best where government need not fear the wrath of an armed people."
"The prospect of tyranny may not grab the headlines the way vivid stories of gun crime routinely do," Judge Kozinski noted. "But few saw the Third Reich coming until it was too late. The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed - where the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once."

The doomsday provision

This quote has appeared before on this blog. And I believe the message it carries is of such importance that it is worthy of repetition.
It is ironic that an immigrant knows the intent of the Founders of the U.S.A. better than the 'supposed' representatives that were born here!
The founding of this country was by people fleeing oppression from their home lands. As well as those trying to gather wealth. We grew strong, I believe, from the input from many people from different countries who contributed to the greatness, that at one time was, America. Instead of a flood of ILLEGAL ALIENS, I'm starting to believe we need more immigrants that come from countries where there was oppression. People who will come and apply themselves and learn the TRUTH about the Intent of the Real America. Not the despicable sham that it is presently - mostly from Corrupt Politicians. These people will fight and fight hard for keeping their new-found freedom! Because they have experienced living under the boot of tyranny!
