The following is my reply to comments made by Laramie Police Chief Bob Deutsch and University of Wyoming Police Chief Tim Banks. The comments were in the headline-linked article found on Keep and Bear Arms;

The article quoted Bob Deutsch as saying the following;
“It’s not a healthy piece of legislation. It doesn’t do anything to advance public safety,” Laramie Police Chief Bob Deutsch. said. “Our point of view does count, because we’re the people who are on the firing line with weapons out on the street.”

Sorry, Bob. But, YOU are a Public Servant, and that is ALL. The People are the ULTIMATE LEGITIMATE AUTHORITY. You are merely paid to SERVE the People. Your point of view, as exercised from that of an officer, is IRRELEVANT! The ONLY power you have is that ALLOWED by the People! Get it in your head Bob, YOU ARE A SERVANT, PERIOD!

You have SWORN to UPHOLD and DEFEND the Constitution of The United States of America! Attached to said Constitution is a piece of paper called The Bill of RIGHTS! Do YOU know what RIGHTS are Bob? UNALIENABLE RIGHTS! If YOUR FEARFUL to do the job, THAT WE THE PEOPLE PAY YOU TO DO - THEN, GET OUT!

The SAME goes for Tim Banks as well! Would suggest that YOU BOTH read the Constitution with the attached Bill of Rights! As THOSE DOCUMENTS ARE THE RULE OF LAW, for the WHOLE COUNTRY! And Wyoming AGREED to be BOUND by those documents when it joined the UNION! It would behove you to read the Federalist Papers as well. For the Federalist was the means employed to effect the 'sale' of the Constitutional Republic to We The People!
