Bully for Butler.Boston, 12.--A committee of the Emmett Guard of Worcester, an independent military company, not attached to the state militia, appeared before the governor, to-day, with a petition for permission to parade under arms on the 17th of March. The governor read it and without saying a word wrote the following endorsement on the back of the petition. "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. B.F. BUTLER, commander in chief."
