"that to bear arms for their defence, is the right of the people"

   "It is likewise declared, that to bear arms for their defence, is the right of the people, that they have also a right to assemble, to consult on the common good, to instruct their representatives, and to petition for the redress of grievances. That liberty of conscience belongs to all men; that elections ought to be frequent; that hereditary honours or emoluments, perpetuities, monopolies, and retrospective laws ought for ever to be abolished and avoided."
